Holiday, Activities & Food Programme (HAF)
Since 2020, Latitude Sports Stars have been proud providers of the Holiday, Activities and Food (HAF) Programme.
In 2018 the HAF programme was introduced nationally to provide support to children in receipt of free school meals through holiday periods. Following successful pilots between 2018 and 2020, the programme was rolled out to all upper tier local authorities in 2021.
Since 2021, the HAF programme has enabled providers like ourselves and many others to support hundreds of thousands of children and their families throughout the Easter, Summer, and Christmas school holidays.
The HAF programme funding is primarily for school aged children from reception to year 11 who receive benefits-related free school meals (FSM). We as providers of the programme currently cater for primary school children from years 1 - 6.
Benefits-related FSMs are available to pupils if their parents are in receipt of one of the qualifying benefits and have a claim which is verified by their school or local authority. Please be aware that as providers we are unable to verify this.
Finally please note that all children in reception, year 1 and year 2 in England’s state-funded schools receive a free meal under the universal infant free school meals (UIFSM) policy.
Infant pupils who receive a free meal under UIFSM must also be eligible for benefits-related FSM to be able to access a place on the HAF programme.

Easter HAF 2024
Multi Sports & Games
We are currently taking bookings for our Easter HAF Multi Sports & Games Programme.
To register your child please sign up through the parent portal via the blue button at the bottom of the screen.
Once you have successfully registered your child through the parent portal your place is then secure.
This year we are kindly asking parents to sign up through our website, to state the days where your children are attending and to add any other important information.

tuesday 2nd april - friday 5th april
10:00 - 14:00 eACH DAY
During our camps we will be offering a wide range of sports and activities throughout the day. As well as this, we will also be providing hot meals, sandwiches (hot & cold), healthy snacks and many other food items. Please provide your child a refillable drinking bottle throughout their time at the club.
As it stands, we have funding allocated for 30 children. Places are available on a first come, first served basis. To avoid any disappointment please book as soon as possible. Please do not book your children on to the programme unless you are fully aware they are able to attend as this could result in other children missing out.
